Privacy Policy

RivaLink is a football quiz game made by Ali Dogan ("we"). This policy explains what the game stores about you, why, and how to delete it. We don't show ads, we don't sell data, and we don't use third-party tracking or analytics tools — we only count anonymous usage statistics ourselves (see below).

Playing as a guest

You can play without an account. The name you type is shown to the other players in your match and isn't stored after the match ends (except in a report, if another player reports it). Your settings (language, name, blocked players, reminder) stay on your device.

With an account

Sign-in details: your email address and password (stored encrypted), or — with Google or Apple sign-in — the email address and name that service shares with us.
Your username, which other players see in matches, on leaderboards and on your profile.
Game results: points, leaderboard positions, profile statistics, daily challenge results and your last 100 matches (opponent name, scores, rounds).
Your language, so emails reach you in English or Turkish.

Reports

If you report a player, we store the reported name, the reason, where it happened and — if you're signed in — your account, so we can review it. Reports are kept until they've been reviewed and are then deleted or anonymised.

Anonymous usage statistics

To see how many people play and what to improve, the app sends a small message when it opens and every two minutes while it's in use: a random number created on your device (not linked to your account, name or email), the app's language, the platform (web, Android or iPhone), the app version and your time zone. Our server works out the country of the connection from your IP address with an offline database (IP Geolocation by DB-IP) and then forgets the IP address — it is never stored. We also count events in the game, such as matches played, clubs picked, players named, and reports, as daily totals. Only we see these statistics. Activity rows are deleted after about 13 months.

Error reports: if something breaks in the app, it sends us the error message and where in the app's code it happened, with the app version, platform, language and the screen you were on — nothing about you or your account, and the IP address isn't stored. We use these only to fix bugs and delete them once fixed.

Technical data

Our game server sees your IP address while you play, to limit abuse (too many requests). It's kept in memory only, not saved. Player photos are loaded from Wikimedia Commons, which receives your IP address when your device loads them.

Why we use it

Only to run the game: your account, matches, leaderboards, emails with sign-in codes, and keeping the game safe (offensive names, reports). The legal basis is providing the service you asked for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), and its equivalent under Turkey's KVKK).

Who processes it for us

Supabase — accounts and game data (database).
DigitalOcean — the game server.
Resend — emails with sign-in codes.
Google / Apple — only if you choose to sign in with them.

These providers may store data outside your country, under their own data-protection agreements.

Deleting your data

In the app: Menu → Account → Delete account. This deletes your account, username, points, statistics and match history straight away. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data or for deletion.

Children

RivaLink isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

RivaLink, Ali Dogan ("biz") tarafından yapılmış bir futbol bilgi oyunudur. Bu politika, oyunun senin hakkında neyi neden sakladığını ve nasıl silebileceğini açıklar. Reklam göstermiyoruz, veri satmıyoruz, üçüncü taraf takip ya da analiz araçları kullanmıyoruz — yalnızca anonim kullanım istatistiklerini kendimiz sayıyoruz (aşağıya bak).

Misafir olarak oynamak

Hesap olmadan oynayabilirsin. Yazdığın isim maçtaki diğer oyunculara gösterilir ve maç bitince saklanmaz (başka bir oyuncu bildirirse bildirimde kalır). Ayarların (dil, isim, engellediğin oyuncular, hatırlatma) cihazında kalır.

Hesapla

Giriş bilgileri: e-posta adresin ve şifren (şifreli saklanır) ya da Google veya Apple ile girişte o servisin bizimle paylaştığı e-posta ve isim.
Kullanıcı adın: diğer oyuncular maçlarda, liderlik tablolarında ve profilinde görür.
Oyun sonuçların: puanlar, sıralamalar, profil istatistikleri, günlük meydan okuma sonuçları ve son 100 maçın (rakip adı, skorlar, turlar).
Dilin: e-postaların Türkçe ya da İngilizce gelmesi için.

Bildirimler (şikâyetler)

Bir oyuncuyu bildirirsen, inceleyebilmek için bildirilen ismi, nedeni, nerede olduğunu ve giriş yaptıysan hesabını saklarız. Bildirimler incelenene kadar saklanır, sonra silinir ya da anonimleştirilir.

Anonim kullanım istatistikleri

Kaç kişinin oynadığını ve neyi geliştirmemiz gerektiğini görmek için uygulama açıldığında ve kullanılırken iki dakikada bir küçük bir mesaj gönderir: cihazında oluşturulan rastgele bir numara (hesabına, adına ya da e-postana bağlı değildir), uygulamanın dili, platform (web, Android ya da iPhone), uygulama sürümü ve saat dilimin. Sunucumuz bağlantının ülkesini IP adresinden çevrimdışı bir veritabanıyla bulur (IP Geolocation by DB-IP) ve ardından IP adresini unutur — asla kaydedilmez. Ayrıca oynanan maçlar, seçilen kulüpler, yazılan futbolcular ve bildirimler gibi oyun içi olayları günlük toplamlar olarak sayarız. Bu istatistikleri yalnızca biz görürüz. Etkinlik kayıtları yaklaşık 13 ay sonra silinir.

Hata raporları: uygulamada bir şey bozulursa, hata mesajını ve uygulamanın kodunda nerede olduğunu; uygulama sürümü, platform, dil ve bulunduğun ekranla birlikte bize gönderir — senin ya da hesabın hakkında hiçbir şey içermez ve IP adresi kaydedilmez. Bunları yalnızca hataları düzeltmek için kullanır, düzeltilince sileriz.

Teknik veriler

Oyun sunucumuz, kötüye kullanımı sınırlamak için oynarken IP adresini görür. Yalnızca bellekte tutulur, kaydedilmez. Oyuncu fotoğrafları Wikimedia Commons'tan yüklenir; cihazın onları yüklerken Wikimedia IP adresini görür.

Neden kullanıyoruz

Yalnızca oyunu çalıştırmak için: hesabın, maçlar, liderlik tabloları, giriş kodlu e-postalar ve oyunu güvenli tutmak (uygunsuz isimler, bildirimler). Hukuki dayanak, istediğin hizmeti sunmaktır (KVKK md. 5/2-c ve GDPR md. 6(1)(b)).

Verileri bizim için işleyenler

Supabase — hesaplar ve oyun verileri (veritabanı).
DigitalOcean — oyun sunucusu.
Resend — giriş kodlu e-postalar.
Google / Apple — yalnızca onlarla giriş yapmayı seçersen.

Bu sağlayıcılar verileri kendi veri koruma sözleşmeleri kapsamında yurt dışında saklayabilir.

Verilerini silmek

Uygulamada: Menü → Hesap → Hesabı sil. Hesabın, kullanıcı adın, puanların, istatistiklerin ve maç geçmişin hemen silinir. Verilerinin bir kopyasını istemek ya da silinmesini talep etmek için bize e-posta da gönderebilirsin.

Çocuklar

RivaLink 13 yaşından küçük çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bilerek onların verilerini toplamayız.
